Trip To Hell

Do you believe in Heaven and Hell? I know some of you may not believe. I do believe in Heaven and Hell. There are so many proofs about it.
If you talk about the happiness of having a caring family, friends, wealth, and so on, it’s not Heaven. It’s just a Paradise.
Heaven is the place where God reigns. Where all people who believe in Jesus and accept Him as God and Saviour will go after the death of their earthly bodies. Where there’s no pain, no tear, no sin. A perfect place. Utopia of Utopias.
Hell is the place of Demons and Devils and the disbeliever of Christ. Where they will dead for the second time.
I myself never been there, the two places I mention above. But there are many people who have. And one of them is Phillip Mantofa. And he will tell you how did it feel for being there, brought by Jesus Himself.
Watch Phillip talk about the story today, 1.00 PM GMT+7 only on http://mstv.tv. Watch the revelation, respond it right, and let Him change your life. God bless you.

Indonesia Unite

As I mentioned Indonesia Unite, most of you must be wondering what Indonesia Unite is.
So, this is the answer. Indonesia Unite is a movement started in Twitter as response to Jakarta bombing few years ago. July, 17th 2009. Nine days after Indonesian election day and two days before the arrival of Manchester United tour to Indonesia. A suicidal bomb exploded in JW Marriott Hotel and Ritz Carlton Hotel. The place where the Manchester United team and Indonesia All Stars team will get their sleep.
The objective of the online movement via Twitter is to say that we, Indonesian people are not afraid of the terror and will still love Indonesia, and to prove that Indonesia is not a country of origin of terrorists. So as the result, the hashtag of #IndonesiaUnite listed as trending topic (local trending topic has not yet implemented by Twitter) in three days a row. And the news spread up fast as CNN (yes, that CNN) reported this followed by local news companies.
#IndonesiaUnite is not a terrorist fighting movement, but a movement to change Indonesia to be a better Indonesia. As a movement to change Indonesia, this movement is currently takes place mostly offline and spread up across Indonesia and oftenly is not reported in mainstream medias. So if you want to see more about this movement, check out Indonesia Unite Site
By the way, I uploaded some photos of a tiny bit of the beautiful Indonesia in my Instagram. Find me at belthsazar_liem because I’ll upload some more.
Ini #IndonesiaUnite punyaku, mana #IndonesiaUnite punyamu?

Introducing New Tags : Bahasa Indonesia, English, and Indonesia Unite

Well.. you all know that I come from Indonesia (and I’m proud of it) but rarely make a post in Bahasa Indonesia. So to accommodate local content, to promote Indonesia, and to show you my #IndonesiaUnite movement (more on #IndonesiaUnite on another post soon.), I decided to make new tags called Bahasa Indonesia and English to differentiate which post is in English, and which post is in Bahasa Indonesia. I plan to make posts that have both tags to introduce you to Bahasa Indonesia, since Indonesia is a very beautiful country (Indonesia is not just Bali and Jakarta!) with a lot of gorgeous places to look for, and it does have a lot of slangs and colloquial terms that you won’t find in most dictionaries. So, to (at least) minimize the confusions, I’ll try to include some commonly used words in Bahasa Indonesia and give the meaning in English. I also plan to use “Ini #IndonesiaUnite punyaku, mana #IndonesiaUnite punyamu?” as ending for every post from now on, which I see it fits. To provoke Indonesian people to make their own #IndonesiaUnite movement, not only to follow the online movement, but also to do something real offline. Something real to change Indonesia. To make a better Indonesia.
So, the first words are ‘kami’ and ‘kita’ in Bahasa Indonesia. They both can be translated into ‘we’ in English. The main difference is the first one is exclusive and the second one is inclusive. So far I only find this case in Bahasa Indonesia. Let’s take an example with a short dialogue between a celebrity with the interviewer.
I : “Kapan kamu sama Nia nikah?” (When will you and Nia get married? or When will you get married with Nia?) ‘sama’ basically translates ‘same’, but colloquially it also used as ‘with’ or ‘and’.
C : “Kita nikah bulan depan.” (We will get married next month.)
Compare with this one.
I : “Kapan kamu sama Nia nikah?” (When will you get married with Nia? or When will you and Nia get married?)
C : “Kami nikah bulan depan.” (We will get married next month.)
Did you notice the difference for the underlined words? First example tells you that the Celebrity (C) will get married with both the Interviewer (I) and Nia, while the second example tells you that the Celebrity will get married with just Nia. The interviewer is not included.
Well.. although it looks complicated, take this as a free introductory lesson to Bahasa Indonesia. Hahaha.. Feel free to contact Indonesian Ambassador in your country if you want to learn more about Bahasa Indonesia. I’m sure they’ll provide good amount of information. I’m here just to give you a basic vocabularies of Bahasa Indonesia and all things Linux.
Sampai jumpa, see you.
Ini #IndonesiaUnite punyaku, mana #IndonesiaUnite punyamu?

Late Night Photo (DPchallenge)

I was in the middle of beautiful dream about fighting along the Kamen Rider Kuuga, the hero of my childhood, when my phone vibrated. No number appeared. No name either. Lazily, I picked it up and unlocked the screen. A photo. A photo of a place very familiar. But strangely, I couldn’t remember where it is. Still felt sleepy, I ignored it and went back to sleep.
Later in the morning, I remembered the photo when I was taking a breakfast and reached for my phone. I was shocked to findĀ  the photo has gone. Gone without any trace. Disturbed, I called the provider to ask who was the one who sent me the photo. But as I has expected, they couldn’t help at all.
I went to the campus with a mix of curiosity and fear. But soon my fears and curiosities wiped away completely due to the campus activities. I was so busy I didn’t know that another photo has been sent to my phone.
Back home, I once more was shocked by the second photo. It’s me on the photo. As a child. I finished my dinner incompletely because I had no appetite. Not after what happened. I go to bed completely scared and couldn’t barely sleep until that noises of footsteps came.
I woken up by the noises and even more scared than before. But I pretend to sleep and cover my head with my blanket. I could hear nothing but the footsteps advanced toward my room. I tried so hard not to move that I sweated so badly.
Slowly, the footsteps got closer and clos
er. Finally, my unlocked door (stupid me!) opened and someone entered. No. Some people entered. I heard a scratch like a lighter being lit. I got more scared as they open my blanket. And ultimately..
“Happy Birthday!”, they threw a bucket of water to me and made me all wet. My friends and families made an ultimate surprise.
“How can you all get in!”, I demanded.
“Got a copy of all your keys.”, said Michael, my little brother.
“How can you send photos without name nor number?!”, I roared.
“Easy. Got your phone hacked last month. Remember when you left your phone in my car?”, answered Albert, my other little brother.
“Mom and Dad arranged this since two months ago.”, giggled Vina, my old sister.
“I hate you all!”, I shouted and kicked their ass out of my room.
I cried happily in silence. I love how they care about me. How’s your story? Make your own Challenge Story and follow the guidance at WordPress Challenge now!
