Edge Failed, Nokia is No More

So, Ubuntu Edge campaign finally has over. And as I guessed, it failed. The goal set was too high with the promotion that little (literally). In the end, Edge may be a failure. But the point here is not the birth of Edge itself, but the introduction of another Linux-based mobile operating system that is more capable than even its cousin, Android. Canonical also wanted to give another option for the market that is fed up with the crappiness of iOS, the so-called Android fragmentation and malwares, but also don’t want to use that Windows Phone spyware (read this, Mr. Stallman! I hope.. :p). Edge also has set the record entitled The Most Funded Crowdsourcing Project Ever.
By the way, failure is a failure. The world is not kind enough to praise its record and point over and over. The world will also forget about it within months. Maybe faster with the advent of the (even more expensive) iToys so -called 5S and 5C and the new Android codename of Kit Kat(!).
By the way, you must have already known that Nokia is No More. It has been acquired by Microsoft for 7 billions bucks. Personally, I think it is the result of another Microsoft’s nasty politics. Send your man destroying Nokia from the inside, then buy it cheap. Sounds familiar? Well.. That’s Microsoft.
